Dennis Hennen is an attorney at law in Monroe, Louisiana, and a founding member of Hennen & Hennen, LLP. His primary practice is plaintiffs’ personal injury, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents. Dennis has served on the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board. He is currently serving on the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on The Rules of Professional Conduct Regarding Class Actions and has served on the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Complex Litigation.
He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, the Louisiana and American Associations for Justice, and the Council of Directors of the Louisiana Association for Justice. He is also a Vice Chair of the AAJ Interstate Trucking Section Committee on Motor Carrier Discovery Abuse, a Chairman of the LAJ Products Liability Section, and a member of the LAJ Executive Committee.
Dennis received his B.A. from Northeast Louisiana University in 1978, and his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 1981. He is married to Helen Hennen, and has two children: Laura and Tyler.
Laura Hennen is an attorney at law in Monroe, Louisiana, and a founding member of Hennen & Hennen, LLP. She joins her father and law partner Dennis in the primary practice of plaintiffs’ personal injury, focusing on motor vehicle accidents. Laura was recently appointed to serve on the Adjudicative Committee of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board by the Louisiana Supreme Court, and began her term in January 2016. She is a board member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, and serves as a co-chair of the LAJ Women’s Caucus Community Outreach Committee. She is also a member of the American Association for Justice and serves on its Trial Lawyers Care Committee, organizing trial lawyers to work together to volunteer and improve the well-being of members of their communities.
Laura received her B.A. in Religion at Baylor University in 2005, her J.D. and Civil Law Certificate at Tulane Law School in 2008, and was admitted in the 5th Circuit and the Western District of Louisiana Federal Court.
In her free time, Laura loves to travel. She is also a proud supporter of the local food bank, and of education through DonorsChoose.org.
Tyler Hennen works in the family law firm Hennen & Hennen, LLP. He received his B.A. in philosophy in Baylor University in 2008, and his Juris Doctor at Mississippi College School of Law in 2011. Tyler is a music aficionado.
